Once upon a time there was a crystal clean river called Omaru river.An Eel called Kyan lived there, he said “the water is so fresh”, and there were lot of sea creatures living there too.
But one day he smelt gas and he felt rubbish hitting his head. Kyan looked around and saw people throwing scraps,bottles,food scraps, and equipment into the river. He said to the eels “the river is getting polluted”.
So Kyan went to the eel soldiers and said “please can you help us? “Our river is being polluted”. And they said “oh so sad of course, we will come help you”. So they made a plan and there plan was to tell all the people to stop throwing rubbish and leaking oil and gas into the river.And the people said “ok where stop doing stuff to your guys river”.
The next day the river was crystal clean again and all “the Eels Shouted Yay!” We’re saved. And All the Eels lived happily ever after.
